I always figured I would bring this dream to life “later on”, clouded by ideas of not feeling “healed enough” or knowing of all the things I long to know. But through my own path as an artist and musician, I’ve come to understand that often the greatest teachers are those who are still learning themselves.
I am an imperfect facilitator, I will not always get it right, I am still learning and healing and getting free and evolving as I hope to for the entirety of my life. But I trust deeply in these offerings and their necessity in this moment.
Times like these call for medicine to be poured. I am sharing the medicine I know, with humility and the deepest care.
Sanctuary of Beings started as a seed almost a decade ago; initially as an idea of a physical space to serve as a base for a variety of healing modalities (ie. visions of a group home for teens aging out of the foster system and rescued animals, a birthing village for mothers in need, a safe space for those escaping violence, etc.). However, after backpacking and moving from place to place for years, the prospect of committing to one space began to feel further out of reach.
But the desire to create something remained. I moved to California in June of 2024 to pursue a more creative path and have heavily relied on my daily rituals and spiritual practices to keep me grounded in a city and industry that can so often feel the opposite. A spark was ignited and I sought out training for a practice I was already living, sound healing. Through many prayers and much discernment, I finally decided that it was time to share these offerings.
While its execution has evolved (and will continue to, I’m sure) the heart of it remains the same- creating intentional spaces for healing, rooted in a prayer for collective liberation and a better world.
