calling in the elements of water, earth, fire and wind as our witnesses
calling in our benevolent ancestors committed to the healing of our lineages
calling in the wisdom of the stones and bones to
be with us as we reckon with what has been taken and what has been lost
be with us as we seek to remember our humanity through returning what was stolen
be with us as we recreate how to pray, how to listen, how to be with land and life once again
circle round us as we set down legacies of domination, separation and supremacy
as we set these down may we pick up life affirming systems rooted in care and liberation for all beings
as we set down capitalism, white supremacy and colonization, may we pick up the possibilities of our wholeness and belonging
we are here to recover and re-weave a tapestry of balance for our people
we are here for redistribution and reparations
we are here to reveal ourselves to ourselves
we are here to embody a different story, to make different decisions and live different lives than many who came before us
may the healing we do here ripple out in all directions
may it spiral far and wide throughout our lineages through the root and to the origin, beyond knowable space and time
I trust deeply in my life as a prayer
